The Sabres House League Select Tournament

The Sabres Select Tournament is held the first weekend in March. All games are played at Scarborough Village Arena, located at Markham Road and Kingston Road, or at Mid-Scarborough Arena, located at Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue.

The tournament is open to House League select teams in four age groups

• Novice 6
• Novice 8
• Minor Atom
• Minor Bantam

Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games and will be accepted on a "first come, first served basis."

Coaches Appreciation Dance(Adults only)

The Coaches Appreciation Dance is held in late March . Tickets include a roast beef dinner and dessert, door prizes and the dance. (cash bar). We welcome donations for door prizes.

Scarboro Sabres coaches are volunteers, so come out to a fun evening and show them how much their time and effort is appreciated.

House League Playoffs

At the end of regular season play the teams are invited to play in the Round Robin playoff series. This series culminates in League Championship, Consolation and Participation Games for each division. All players take home trophies.

Players' Banquet

The Scarboro Sabres League ends every house league season with a Players' Banquet. Held in the meeting hall at Scarborough Village Arena, the banquet celebrates the accomplishments and the triumphs of our teams.

Players are awarded hat-trick and shut-out trophies, and Esso Canada sponsors medals for outstanding individuals on each team. The award ceremony is followed by a lunch for the players.

Our hockey players wrap up their season with a fun-filled hour and a last chance to acknowledge their teammates.
